Public Statement 🗣
It was a joy to be among so many changemakers to discuss inclusivity in the campaign to #StopRosebank and the wider climate justice movement. We live in times where a handful of people still have the power to evoke genocide, neocolonial extraction and ecological devastation. All our struggles are connected, whether they be in recognising Indigenous land rights, tackling the violent extraction of critical raw materials in the DRC or addressing fuel poverty in the UK. In spaces like the QCT Network, I am reminded that people power is stronger than the people in power. A more just future is being created – the next step is in listening to and supporting each other, especially the most marginalised and those on the frontlines of our current crises. Only then can we address past injustices and truly build a more inclusive future for all.
