One Year of Silence
In the land where olive trees once stood tall,
A year has passed since the echoes of war’s call.
Gaza, a name whispered in pain and despair,
A testament to suffering, too heavy to bear.
One year of genocide, a wound deep and wide,
Where dreams were shattered, and hope has died.
Children’s laughter silenced, replaced by cries,
Under the weight of injustice, humanity sighs.
As rubble replaces homes, hearts crumble too,
Lives lost in the shadows of a struggle anew.
Injustice flows like a river, deep and unyielding,
A million hearts pulse with the pain of this feeling.
Global unrest, a tide we cannot ignore,
The echoes of history ring out at our door.
We march for the voiceless, the ones who have fallen,
For peace to emerge, for justice to call in.
Let’s weave our stories into a tapestry bright,
Each thread a testament to the strength in our fight.
Together, united, we stand hand in hand,
For a world where compassion takes root in the land.
Ceasefire, a whisper, now rising to roar,
Demanding our leaders to open the door.
To dialogue, to healing, to bridges we build,
In the name of the countless, our voices fulfilled.

Peace now, for Gaza, for all who have grieved,
For the dream of a future where hope is believed.
Let our hearts beat as one, with love as our guide,
In the journey for justice, we’ll stand side by side.
