BREAKING: Black Family with Disabled Son Unlawfully Evicted by RHP Landlords in Richmond Park

Richmond Park, 28th Aug 2024  — A Black family in Richmond Park, including a son with disabilities, was unlawfully evicted from their home by RHP landlords on August 16th, 2024, in what is being condemned as a clear case of racial injustice and discrimination. The eviction occurred despite the family’s legal right to remain in their home, as confirmed by a court order issued on August 23rd, which permitted their immediate return.

In a blatant disregard for the law, the RHP landlords have refused to allow the family back into their home, leaving them without shelter and essential support. The family has since struggled to find adequate housing, underscoring the severe challenges faced by marginalized communities, particularly those dealing with both racial discrimination and disabilities. #Homeless #PARIS2024 #PARALYMPICS #PARALYMPICSGAMES #PARALYMPICS24 #PARALYMPICS2024

The family’s ordeal has become a powerful symbol of the urgent need for stronger protections and justice for those most vulnerable in our society. Advocates are calling for immediate action to hold the landlords accountable and ensure that such egregious violations of human rights do not continue.
