Key info:

For 16-25 year olds

All young people, but particularly those from an ethnic minority background.

The IOPC Youth Panel gives young adults a real voice and opportunity to influence and change the police complaints system across England and Wales. As a panel member, you will have a key role in helping support, challenge and inform the work of the IOPC.

You will have to:

Take part in Youth Panel meetings

Join subgroups to work on priority areas for the IOPC.

Play a leading role in designing and running youth-led workshops with young people and police forces across England and Wales.

Our Leadership Programme is coming back to Bolton

Joining Youth Leads gives you the chance to develop your skills, realise your potential and create positive change in your community!

Our programmes are completely free for you to partake in and are available to anyone aged 12 – 25.

Sessions take place in the evenings between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Snacks and drinks are provided at every session, and we’ll support you in getting to and from sessions, including paying for your travel expenses.

Across three months, you’ll create a magazine, write articles, and plan the delivery of a social action project to make things better in your area.
