A couple of weeks back, I was invited by the Voice Box team to share my thoughts on the topic of banning smartphones for under-16s. From a youth perspective, this issue brings up crucial points about mental health, education, and social interaction. It’s vital to find a balance that protects young minds while fostering responsible tech use. #YouthVoice #SmartphoneBan #DigitalWellbeing #TechResponsibility #VoiceBoxDiscussion

Almost half (45%) say they are opposed to a smartphone ban for under-16s, compared to 33% who are in favour. Those with 11-15 year olds are particularly opposed, with 52% saying so versus only 25% who would support a ban. You’ve heard and listened to some of my views on this topic.
