▪︎ Generally, creative work refers to work or objects which are aesthetically pleasing and have a unique message. Creativity is not solely limited to the arts but can be found in many fields such as writing, music, and design.

▪︎ According to recent statistics from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) they contributed £109billion to the economy in 2021. This equated to 5.6% of the total for that year.

▪︎ Previous Prime Minister’s priority sectors for economic growth, the creative industries are a global British success story growing at more than 1.5 times the rate of the wider economy over the past decade and contributing £108 billion in gross value added (GVA) annually.

▪︎ Technology and Innovation Technological innovation will play a pivotal role in determining the largest companies of 2050. Industries like artificial intelligence (AI), renewable energy, and electric vehicles (EVs) are anticipated to see massive growth.
