▪︎We are reaching the decisive moment at #COP28 – will the conference make progress on climate action, or go down in history as a failure?

▪︎The science is clear: Our only credible option is a complete, rapid and fair phase-out from fossil fuels.

▪︎Rosebank is an oil and gas field which lies about 80 miles north-west of Shetland and is one of the largest undeveloped discoveries in UK waters. It is said to contain up to 300 million barrels of oil and is owned by Norwegian energy giant Equinor and British firm Ithaca Energy.

▪︎In fact, we are the largest supplier of energy to Britain. The Rosebank oil and gas field will be able to produce up to 8% of Britain’s oil leading up to 2030, which is a significant contribution from one field.
