Human Rights is key pressing concerning topic which this Online Event will be taking a deep in depth look into highlighting with open discussion and presentation from Guest Speakers. How does Human Rights current look like in modern complex society. While highlighting how climate change and other key elements which are classified as human rights to society and citizens. With also discussion around the Inclusion elements of COP28 UAE with what outcomes could be taken into consideration.
Sakshi Shree, a 22-year-old author, environmentalist, researcher, graphic designer, and public speaker, is a true embodiment of a Renaissance woman. Her books, “Sakshya” and “Up above the World so High,” raise awareness about climate change, femininity, and self-discovery.
Christine Ogola has a passion for climate change justice, and youth participation, Christine serves as the National Coordinator of African Youth Initiative on Climate Change (AYICC), a member of YOUNGO, the UNFCCC Children and Youth constituency. With over 5 years’ experience.
James Paek is a current corporate field manager at QuikTrip Corporation and also a chairman of PeaceX, an organization that helps youth to educate on several SDGs programs for the underrepresented group.
✊🏾In our modern complex society, the pursuit of inclusion and human rights stands as a cornerstone. In 2023, strides are evident, with a 25% global increase in companies adopting inclusive policies.
Yet, challenges persist; 40% of LGBTQ+ employees still face workplace discrimination. Notably, 70% of nations now have legislation against gender-based violence, a commendable shift.
