Today marks the start of the UN General Assembly High-Level Week.

The first Session of the UN General Assembly opened on 10 January 1946 at the Methodist Central Hall in London. This September marks its 78th Session.

Deputy Prime Minister @oliverdowden.mp and Foreign Secretary @jamescleverly will lead the UK’s Delegation, alongside HRH @princeandprincessofwales, and eight Ministers, including Alicia Herbert (@ukgenderenvoy).
