The Sunday Telegraph reports that Rishi Sunak is to defy the Climate Change Committee’s advice to halt all airport expansions in the UK.
The paper says the move is one of the prime minister’s most “significant yet” in his shift towards approaching net zero in a “proportionate and pragmatic” way.
