Have you ever been the individual who has ever thought what MBA, well today I’m going to explain that MBA, is “Master of Business Administration.”

However some may feel that we have systematic system which does not offer equal opportunities which is a fact.

Did you know of the following:

• Race equality in the UK will potentially bring a £24 billion per year boost to the UK economy – 1.3 %
GDP. That is £481 million a week3.

• Organisations with more diverse teams have 36% better financial returns4.

• Only 1 in 16 people at senior levels in the private and public sector are from an ethnic minority background5.

BITC’s Race at Work 2021 Scorecard Report, produced in partnership with YouGov found that

• the number of organisations voluntarily capturing their ethnicity pay gap data has increased from 11% in 2018 to 19% in 2021

• the number of senior leaders as executive sponsors at the top table promoting equality, equity, fairness and inclusion has increased from 32% in 2015 and 33% in 2018 to 44% in 2021

• access to mentorship and sponsorship has reduced for Black, Asian, Mixed Race and other ethnically diverse people since 2018. We are calling on leaders and employers to engage in two-way mentoring models and active sponsorship.

While International facts and statistics shows that:

More than 72 million children of primary education age are not in school and 759 million adults are illiterate and do not have the awareness necessary to improve both their living conditions and those of their children.

Which is compared to UK National facts and statistics shows in the UK:

An estimated 10.4% of all people aged 16 to 24 years in the UK were not in education, employment or training in April to June 2022.

While according to the Office for National Statistics, 42% of the UK population between the ages of 21 and 64 were university graduates in July 2017. This amounts to around 14.28 million people in that age category with degrees.

HESA say that out of the 703,515 students who received an undergraduate degree or postgraduate qualification in 2017-18, 183,500 had studied a taught Masters. This means that 26% of graduates in 2017-18 were taught Masters students.

If we extrapolate this figure to the 42% of the UK’s population aged between 21 and 64 that have a degree, we find that around 6.2% of this age category have a Masters degree (885,360 people).
