° Zero Discrimination Day is an annual day celebrated on 2nd of March each year by the United Nations (UN) and other international organisations. The day aims to promote equality before the law and in practice throughout all of the member countries of the UN.

▪︎ The aim is to promote equality and fairness before the law and to fight systemic and cultural discrimination against people with HIV/AIDS and individuals of all genders culture and beliefs backgrounds

▪︎ The symbol for Zero Discrimination Day is a butterfly.

Zero Discrimination Day was established on 1st March 2014, by UNAIDS Executive Director in Beijing, following the launch of UNAIDS’ Zero Discrimination Campaign on 1st December 2013, i.e., World AIDS Day.
