This {Answer} Peace Treaty is a copper replica of the original which is the oldest known peace treaty. The original clay tablet treaty, dated {Answer}, was signed by Hattusilli III, King of the Hittites, and Ramses, Pharaoh of the Egyptians.

This treaty, signed on September 3, 1783, between the American colonies and Great Britain, ended the American Revolution and formally recognized the United States as an independent nation.

▪︎ What was the 1923 treaty of Turkey?
Graeco-Turkish Agreement on the Restitution of Interned Civilians and the Exchange of Prisoners of War, signed the 30th January, 1923. Amnesty Declaration, and Protocol, signed the 24th July, 1923. Declaration relating to Moslem Properties in Greece, signed the 24th July, 1923.

▪︎ Who signed the peace treaty with Britain?
American statesmen Benjamin Franklin, John Adams and John Jay negotiated the peace treaty with representatives of King George III of Great Britain.

Good Friday Agreement
▪︎ What does the Good Friday Agreement do?
It restored self-government to Northern Ireland on the basis of “power sharing” and it included acceptance of the principle of consent, commitment to civil and political rights, cultural parity of esteem, police reform, paramilitary disarmament and early release of paramilitary prisoners, followed by demilitarisation.

▪︎ What happened on Bloody Sunday?
Bloody Sunday, demonstration in Londonderry (Derry), Northern Ireland, on Sunday, January 30, 1972, by Roman Catholic civil rights supporters that turned violent when British paratroopers opened fire, killing 13 and injuring 14 others (one of the injured later died).

▪︎ What is IRA prisoners?
It held prisoners suspected of taking part in armed paramilitary campaigns during the Troubles, with separate wings for loyalists and for republicans. In the biggest prison escape in UK history, 38 Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) prisoners escaped from H-Block 7 (H7) of the prison.
