Hello Everyone I stayed up to watch the live coverage, but unfortunately encounted into deep sleep to then watch the rewatch of the live coverage from UN in regards to #IYD2022 However the reason behind this post is that I am Youth myself who is excluded from UN talks because of my own challenges and circumstances financially and politically. From a Youth who is being denied Education, who has hidden disabilities. Did you know that the massive % of these who attend are financially stable within the backing which they receive or even come from a financially supported family. Society required to change as all voices are equally important, to have the right to be invited and heard in part of these important discussions.. I do not agree with the policy of the Youth Assembly membership scheme program. Which is taking advantage. The wellbeing of Youth. This is a clear example of Commodity before Youth. It’s great that from Reducing  Inequality and  Inclusion Rights WG of YOUNGO @youngo.unfccc we have a Youth who is a “Rep,” representative and a fellow Youngo member at the IYD UN talks @jessicali7899 . However our voice are still being undermined within society..

The following could of happened:

• Been invited

• No financial payment required with membership

• Allowing all youth from all corners around the world to be included, “not excluded and treated like a #piggybank piggybank.” Especially from the Global South.

• Travel and Accommodation be provided for Youth

“Enough is Enough, Things and Behaviour of our commodity society is required to change with immediate effect.” We feed up of being abused as Youth. We require change. #IYD2022 #YA27 #afseffect #InclusionRights #QualityofEducation #ReduceInequality #SocialJustice #PeopleNotProfit
