I was invited to attend an evening call “Bridging The Gap: What Is Needed To Improve Black Lives?” Which started at 19:00 BST today.

However at first this was a zoom call which was excluding but opened to arrange of audience collaboration of feedback as Event is might to include all views and opinions, which is the reason why myself and some others showed concerns of how excluding this webinar was and result be neglected with chat options. We used the Q&A for point our points across in a clear and transparent manner. For the webinar to change its manner for an open discussion..

“One of my messages said the following: which stated my question with adding by the the chat closed to the audience..”

Part of our new ‘BEO Listening’ Series – we will be hearing from community leaders and change makers who have experienced the challenges of being Black in Britian.

Our panel includes Lee Jasper, Ife Thomas, Lester Holloway, Chantelle Lunt, Bella Rarewold, Janet Fyle MBE and Iyiola Olafimihan

What actually needs to be done to ensure that we, as Black people not just survive but thrive and how do we build trust?

This listening discussion will be hosted by journalist, broadcaster and activist Marcus Ryder MBE and include Siobhan Aarons, co-founder of Conservatives against racism and Athian Alec, young historian, writer and speaker, BEO Trustees and other guests. Together they will explore some of the issues and provide you with the space to ask questions and share your experiences in developing ways to reduce the gap to improve life experiences for Black communities across the UK.
