Outlier leadership candidates are proving popular with young Conservative members, with polling revealing

to be early favourites among the youth arm of the party.

1⃣ Former Secretary of State Penny Mordaunt was a narrow favourite, with 16.2% of 172 respondents selecting her.

2⃣ Ex-minister Steve Baker came second with 15.6%. 

Neither has made a formal announcement, but both are considering running.
