I’ve been informed of this news article. In my personal opinion we have to respect the values and beliefs of others different way of parenting, as some individuals will have they believes. Which they are entitled to have. While we need to respect other individuals with love and no discrimination equally as well. This story is complex because we can not think that religion and sexuality can mix unfortunately.. However partners have a duty to show their children love for one other and no discrimination. It’s the Child decision to find their own identity at the age of secondary when sex education is learnt. This can not be acceptable at primary school. When children first and foremost are too young to understand what was being wrongly delivered in the context of what was mentioned with the school official statement.. When you have to wonder about the environment of safeguarding of Children in primary school in my personal view, because choice is key as we must equally respect others personal opinions for their children when they are under age..

One last point: I do find it interesting that Department For Education made no statement or comment in regards to this topic of outrage by teachers, staff and some families… #DFE
