Myself and the whole Y7 #AtTheTable & Y7 members are proud to have delivered one of the most inclusive, impactful and developmental youth summits in history:

Inclusion: 10,000 young people’s voices were represented in the Y7 Communique, which was presented to G7 Leaders and Ministers as part of the G7 process;

Development: Y7 participants reported a 20% increase in their confidence in their leadership skills over just 6 months;

Impact: the Y7 got mental health in the G7 leaders’ communique; and

Outreach: ~ 40,000 young people participated in Y7 outreach activities.

We cannot thank you enough as our amazing #AtTheTable Ambassadors! In the report, you’ll see the key highlights of what you achieved, but to summarise:

You hosted over 400 conversations, reaching 2146 young people from every region of the United Kingdom!

81% of the young people who participated in your conversations said they learnt more about the G7;

71% of young people who participated in your conversations said they felt more engaged in democracy;

You reported a 20% increase in your confidence in your abilities as leaders from taking part in the programme – we were SO delighted to see this!
