England could fit an air purifier to every classroom for half the price of the new royal yacht, a move which scientists and campaigners say would significantly reduce the spread of Covid in schools.

The move would cost about £140m, according to calculations by the Liberal Democrats. Government sources have said there will be no delay to the start of the school term, despite surging Omicron cases, and that any additional restrictions will not include classroom closures.

In my personal view, question what happen to the idea of opening the classroom windows? When artificial air will create and make the students twice more as cold and vulnerable within their body clock. We do not know by previous past evidence of what is contaminated with in the air vents of air conditioning which will not solve. The number of problems which we currently have within the education crisis. Which is lacking with low efficiency of years in well needed investment which is urgently required, than years of wasting taxpayers on unnecessary projects.”
