MELANIE Sykes has revealed she’s been diagnosed with autism and revealed her relief as things start to “make sense”.
The 51-year-old sent an email to the readers of her magazine, The Frank, and opened up about the “life changing” week she’d experienced.

Their is a number of adults who found out in their later stages of their lives to be diagnosed with any level of being Neurodivers when they may hide it very well or think to themselves why they may find a topic difficult to another individual. Everyone must have and be given the opportunity to be diagnosed, given equal opportunity with the support which will enable individual exceed potential in life without any challenges, throughout their lives. The % of individuals who are neurodiverse is increasing each day. However this must start from acknowledgement. This article show one factor of why I believe we have to live in a world which is educated, inclusive, consistent and transparent to a journey of a neurodiverse society and individuals. This takes consideration for the importance of: “The Claudes SEN Law Campaign,” which is an National and International Campaign for points which are included to be considered in society this also includes Education and Work.”

Remember we can no longer be a society which excludes individuals, society of neurodivers, mental illness, hidden, visable disabilities as these individuals are equal entitled to be included and be given equal opportunities.
