Accurate data and reporting on disability employment are hard to come by in almost every country. Yet, we know that the gap exists in pretty much every country in the world.. Despite the fact that over one third of businesses report finding it difficult to fill vacancies, people with disabilities are at least twice as likely to be unemployed than none-disabled people.

But research has shown that most disabled people don’t require workplace accommodations and when they do, the average cost is just £80 or $167. So it makes you wonder what’s the main melting pot issue? Why does this gap still exist? At The Valuable 500, we believe and think the time for excuses is over.. It’s 2021 and the potential of over 1.3 billion worldwide must not be ignored. Who’s With Us?
