Here’s one video of a UK family out of millions of families who has faced this nightmare in the UK, and she has tried everything to escape. Her children have no space of their own and barely any room to play. The flat is mouldy and infested with rats. Aida says being in these conditions is ‘surviving, not living’.

She is one of 1.5million people now living in overcrowded social homes because there are not enough social homes.
