🚨Tomorrow is the last day to enter your submissions to the “What If – Spesterra” Youth Video Challenge, on International #YouthDay!

Don’t miss the chance to share your vision of what the world would look like if we spent less on arms and more on peace and development!

Making use of multimedia productions like short films, animations, documentaries, and music videos, the “What If – Spesterra” Youth Video Challenge invites young people from around the globe to showcase their vision of what the world would look like if we put people at the center of our disarmament efforts to save lives and make our world a safer place.

The winning filmmakers will have the opportunity to:

(a) attend a 4-session training in September on Disarmament, Non-proliferation and Arms Control (D.N.A) and Youth Engagement, SDGs, New & Emerging Technologies, and Gender,
(b) develop recommendations to achieve a world that priorities peace and development over weapons and military spending,
(c) present these recommendations and the winning videos at a United Nations event.

Interested? Young people aged between 18-24 have until 12 August 2021, International #YouthDay, to submit their entries!
