Just went to see the highly recommend Summer of Soul, which  everyone must see!! It is a movie which highlights the most important  festival  in our black history “Harlem Cultural Festival” which was  instructed to be rewritten and forgotten about. Which the generation of today and the future generation must be educated about, as our history must never be rewritten or forgotten about under no circumstances.

Because if we don’t know who we are, then we will be stripping away for the right entitlement “To Be Young, Gifted and Black.”

Because we know,  there are billion boys and girls. Who are young, gifted and black

Soul, gospel, blues, jazz, R & B, funk, and rock. The music scene of the late sixties and early seventies was a zenith for these styles, and African Americans were a vital part of it all.
