Parents say they are considering quitting work to homeschool their children following news that a school for diverse learners faces closure because it will not be brought into the state sector.
Auckland mother Fiona Russell had been homeschooling her son, who has Asperger’s syndrome, for three years when they found Mt Hobson Middle School last November.
