@qlmentoring https://instagram.com/qlmentoring?utm_medium=copy_link #repost The CSJ Disability Commission has just published a report with an ambitious and transformative disability plan containing recommendations across employment, education, housing, transport, and access to goods and services.

I am particularly impressed that the report is calling for classroom teachers to be equipped to teach SEND students. It is a travesty that although an estimated 20% of students in the classroom are neurodivergent, teachers receive little to no training on how to identify and support these students. It is time to change this.
